"A LITTLE KNOWLEDGE" COURSES
Reading Your Statements (TBA)
Many artists suffer from the "Tear and Toss" Syndrome. They tear the check off and toss it across the room. The Stepney Family suffered with this for years before taking the time to read and analyze their statements. This course will review common mistakes, made in accounting and how to review them. Our CPA,s and accountants have discovered fail-proof ways to recognize errors and misleading statements. We will also show the good statements and how they differ. We'll review how to digitize them, file and save for future audits as needed.
Chatting with the Majors about Your Moola (TBA)
One of the most challenging things you can do is try to find the right person to assist you with your issue. Are they ignoring you? We don't think so but who knows? This course will review common departments in the record companies and how to locate who you're looking for in the most strategic way. It is common to feel slighted when working with a large conglomerate but this course reviews the offices, their roles and how you fit in.
The Right Behind Your Rights (TBA)
The is a copyright course for the creative mind. We will review the copyright law, show how it may affect you and your works. This is a fun and informative course that walks you through the law from its inception to it's influence worldwide. You'll become the expert you need to be when your legal representation doesn't feel like it.
Compiling and Cataloging (TBA)
Protecting your art in it's real form is as important and protecting the creation of it. This course reviews many ways to preserve and maintain the art for future generations.
